Making Travel Plans?

If you are planning an international trip with your pet, please visit the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) website to research the requirements for your destination country and explore their Helpful References for Pet Travel page. If you do not find your destination on the APHIS website, you will need to contact the country’s embassy and/or research their website for further information.

Scheduling

Please notify our office with your date of departure as soon as possible, ideally at least one month in advance. Please keep in mind that certain countries will require testing and treatments that may take multiple weeks, or months, to complete.

In most cases, your pet will need an exam within 10 days of departure. We will issue your International Health Certificate at the end of your exam and provide guidance about endorsement. Contact us to schedule your pet’s travel exam and and any other appointments that may be necessary.
